Hi everyone,
I have received the attached documents and the website link below from Steve Heaton, a representative of the local High Plains Honor Flight organization, regarding the Freedom Fest on October 5th to raise funds for upcoming Honor Flights.
As most of you are already aware, this organization, High Plains Honor Flight, takes Veterans to Washington DC for a weekend at no charge to them, to honor, recognize and thank them for their service to our country. Steve asked that I distribute this info, not only to generate donations to this effort, but to also inform Veterans of this opportunity that have not yet gone on this weekend flight to Washington DC. I was honored to experience an Honor Flight weekend in September, 2016, along with Gloria’s cousin Kenny Skoglund (Vietnam Veteran) and his mother (Gloria’s aunt) Lillian Skoglund (WWII Veteran). We were sponsored by our daughter-in-law, Joy Margheim. (See attached picture).

This event is to raise money to pay for future weekend Veterans flights to Washington DC, and will include a dinner, a variety show and a live and silent auction.
