What a remarkable milestone! On a beautiful September day in Berthoud, nearly 57 members of the Loveland High School Class of 1965 gathered to celebrate our 60th class reunion—a testament to enduring friendships and cherished memories. Jumpin’ Jive – Man Alive!
Thank you to Bill and Elizabeth Fabrizius Markham, who graciously welcomed us to their event center at their Berthoud farm. The setting was perfect for reconnecting and reminiscing, with the warmth of old friends filling the air.
We enjoyed very special entertainment by the musical talents of Carol Mayberry and Cheryl Bader, whose exceptional performance brought nostalgia to the group. Also, Ron Albers told us about the current events taking place in association with the new Loveland Veteran Memorial Park.
Doug Margheim served as our spokesman.
No reunion is complete without good food, and we enjoyed a delicious barbecue, complemented by homemade cookies lovingly provided by the LHS committee. Laughter and lively conversation filled the afternoon as classmates caught up, shared stories, and rekindled connections that have stood the test of time.
I couldn’t believe how much Loveland has changed over the years. It was such a joy to visit with all of you, and I only wish I’d had time to chat with everyone I wanted to! Thank you for making this reunion so memorable. See you all next time.
If you have pictures of the reunion, please send them to Kathy for posting.
