Save The Date - Our 60th Class Reunion is Soon!
Hi everyone,
The Class of 1965 reunion committee held a meeting last Friday afternoon at Elizabeth’s farm to make final arrangements for our 60th class reunion this year, and here are the final results:
- The date for our 60th reunion is Saturday September 27th starting at 1:00 PM and going until 5:00 PM.
- The location will be at M and M Farms, Bill and Elizabeth Fabrizius Markham’s farm. If you need the address, please email Doug.
- Our reunion event will be catered by White Paper BBQ and the committee will provide home-made cookies.
- Bottled water will be provided. Any other desired beverages will be BYOB.
- Intermittent musical entertainment will be provided by our own Carol Mayberry Sanchez and Cheryl Bader Thornton.
- The charge to attend is $30.00 per person.
- Please bring your name tags from previous reunions. Write-on tags will be provided if you don’t have a tag from a previous reunion.
- Please RSVP to Nancy Russell Barker by Wednesday August 27th.
- Please send your $30.00 entry check to Nancy by Wednesday August 27th.

Can you believe – 60 years ago we were LHS graduates, and here many of us are, to celebrate such an event???!!! We hope to see all of you at this one-time-of-a-lifetime event in our lives. And please use this special time to also fondly remember those wonderful friends and classmates, who we will never forget, who have gone on before us, who we will forever hold as special remembrances in our high school memories.

This is a quick reminder that Monday July 21st is the deadline to purchase tickets to attend Veterans Appreciation night at the rodeo event on August 3rd at the Ranch when Gary Hausman will be honored. Section D has been reserved by Ellen for 24 seats. Please use the attached order form to reserve your tickets, $29.00 each, if there are any left.
