The foundation for it was laid today by our Geometry in Construction class and their teachers. We have begun clean up on the garden areas and ordered the pea gravel for the area and will put that in two weeks. We came across some names of some Larimer County residents that were KIA during the Korean War so we are just checking old year books from 1945-1953 to make there were no LHS grads on that list. The engravers (Landmark Monuments) will begin next week to cut the stone. The engraver is also a LHS class of 2006 graduate. Also the formal invites should go out this next week. We are planning right now for a 3:45pm dedication ceremony on Friday 11Nov. Ceremony and speeches should last around 45 minutes then we will host a reception in the cafeteria. Attached is a pic of the foundation and advance copy of the invite.
