As you all know, there was talk of having a get-together with Gary and Deanna Wise when they were to be in Loveland / Fort Collins. Then, Gary’s untimely passing changed our talk to possibly having a get-together with Deanna after Gary’s funeral. Well, Deanna did make the trip and accomplished what she had to but decided, after going through Gary’s service and then coming here with all she had to do and meeting with all her family, she decided (prudently, I might add) not to put forth the effort in meeting with us but instead to return home. She stated that possibly sometime in the future she could do a return trip here which could include meeting with us.
With all that said, there are some of us who thought we should still plan a get-together in the spirit of the original intention of meeting with Gary and Deanna, plus, in the thought of just getting together while we still can (we’re getting older, you know). So, we thought we would do this before the busyness of the holidays. Arrangements have been made with McGraff’s to meet there on Saturday, December 1st at 4:00 PM to enjoy each other’s company, and McGraff’s food and drink, and just have a good time with our classmates of 1965. Please, at your earliest convenience, see if it works in your schedules and RSVP back to me by November 20th if you will be there so that, if we need to make arrangements with McGraff’s for more space, we have time to do it. We look forward to seeing many of you there.
